12 V lights Academy sells a rectangular marine light that is 4 inches by six inches for under $20 last time I looked. It is a great light for this but go to WalMart and buy the same bulb in automotive but 100 watts instead of 50 watts. I've been using these lights for about 6 years and not one issue ever other than one bulb burning out from lots of use. They work great especially up high, the higher the better. My lights are about 7 ft high.
Lights I really don't remember the brand lights, but they were white with stainless steel mounting brackets and hardware. Its been 5 years or so ago, but if I'm remembering right, I had 4 set up with 110 watt and 2 with the 55 watt bulbs. I started off with 1 trolling motor battery but it wouldn't last long enough, so i switched to 1 of those big black marine batts (the kind used for big diesel engines). That worked and lasted longer. the drawback to that is, they are just as heavy or heavier than my genny. Good luck with your build. Hope it works for u.
bow fishing lights yea what kind of 12volts you used? yea i would love to get some 500w but my boat to small for a gen n all that. so im thinking abt going with the 12-24volts if they work well enough
Lights I started out with a 12v set up. Made do with it and stuck some fish, but switched to 500w halo's and don't regret it. Never have to worry about batteries now. lol
bow fishing lights i was told with the muddy water you can see better when the lights are higher up. and i gonna try to go with 12volt hal if i can find some good ones for a decent price.
