QUESTIONS ABOUT LEEVILLE/ GOLDEN MEADOW AREA
I have fished little lake so Im filimiar with Lake litle Lake, china bayou, Lake Raccourci, the Northwest Islands and around that area, Im looking for GPS cooridnates of some oyster beds in the area that I can fish also some good cuts for reds and just trying to learn more of the area Ive only fished the area twice.

Also was wondering how to get to the Jetties from lets say southwest canal it goes into little lake from the leeville bridge?

I have three batteries, which are a few years old for my trolling motor. One is bad, can i just change that one or should i change all three at one time. Thanks for any help.....

As long as they are legal size limit i skin em i eat the i go by the louisiana regulations and the i go home and eat them if you dont like go to mississippi or texas. Who says you can't catch trout in Lafitte in 20 plus winds.Capt.Bart and myself decided to hit the water to catch some trout for a family fish fry.Left Seaway around 8am making the run to the trout spot.The water was clean and falling and a few trout were biting.The key was to keep drifting today as they were really scattered and biting funny.Can't tell you how many we shook off in the waves.We picked away at them and put our 50 trout limit on ice plus a big blue cat and released a 30 inch red.The trout were decent with most over 14 inches and only a handful of throwbacks.

Looking for some advise. I have fished in the morgsn city area for the last few weekends and have not done well picked up a few here and there. I have tried a jig under a bobber around brush and trees and just tried casting a jig. I havent tried live bait. Am i fishing wrong or are the fish just not starting to move in yet.

Sweetwater Marina Report from Delacroix
Yesterday Capt Jack took my brother Richie, our good friend Allen and ME out for some trout fishing. We left the dock at 10am heading out to the Point Fiennes area. The water was beautiful everywhere. We were throwing Matrix Shads in Shrimp Creole under a popping cork. We wound up with 53 really nice trout all 14 to 19 inches with a couple of 22 inch trout that Capt Jack caught. I wanted to go catch some Reds so Capt Jack obliged and we wound up with 15 perfect sized reds for the grill. We caught all reds on dead shrimp under a popping cork in Shrimp Lagoon. On Board 3 Bank Battery Chargers?
I need help. What brand is a good economical (Under $250) 3 bank on board battery charger for a 36 volt trolling motor system?

I have a 36 volt 101# thrust Minn Kota. Currently I have a ProMariner Pro Sport 15amp 3 bank charger which has broke 3 times. The first 2 times it was under warranty in which they sent me a whole new unit, but now it has failed again and is out of warranty. When I charge my batteries only the green LED light comes, not the red so it's not delivering a charge for some reason and I really don't want to send it in for repair since I have had multiple problems with this brand.

I made a fishing trip to Lake Pontchartrain yesterday with Dan & Jim. We fished the bridges over the lake with Dudleys on a 1/2 oz jig to catch a nice mess of FAT SPECKLED TROUT & FLOUNDER. We then made a move to the ICW to top off our box with some REDFISH. Come by THE BOAT SHOW in the SUPERDOME to see for yourself the fish I'm catching in the Rigolets area. I'll be in the BOAT STUF BOOTH, in the BLUE WAVE PURE BAY. We can talk fishing & Boating. Today 2pm to 10pm and Saturday from 10am to 10pm.

Just what the title says. I am looking to replace an old carrot stick with something a little more updated. I have a Shimano Stradic 3000 MgFB that I will most likely pair it with. This setup will be used with popping corks for specs and reds.

took my son (2.5yrs) fishing for the first time yesterday along with my brother n law and his son (3 yrs). we fished in bayou lacombe and boy did they have a great time we ran down to the south end near the no wake zone and we immediately noticed fish busting shad along the bank my sons first cast was a nice bass my nephews first cast was a bass also, all we had time to do was unhook fish, it was a frenzy. what a trip for my sons first outing(sorry about not catching and releasing) but the first fish my son caught i had threw back in and he started crying his eyes out i literally thought he was going to go swimming to catch it again (poor thing)next trip i will teach him catch and release ..... rainy day fishing
Well we were on the lake by 8:00 this morning and hoping that the weather report was right and the rain wasn't going to be here until after 4:00.It started raining almost as soon as we got the boat in the water.We fished for a few hours,catching only 4.By 12:00 it was raining steady,so we gave up and came on home.

Heading to Bob's Bayou Black Marina, what general area do you go from there to catch a few bass? I have a map of the area but Im not sure where to go. Im not asking for anybody's honey hole I just want a general area. Thanks in advance.

FUN DAY AT THE BEACH!!!!!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with Keith Gibson and Steve Tyler. Frank Roberts jumped on to give me a hand. The guys love to fish and did we have a fun day. With the low tide falling this morning, we went straight for the sound. The guys wanted to catch hard pulling fish on light tackle, talk about fun. The water was dirty in eloie so we went straight out. We caught line stretching fish just about every where we went. The reds and drum were crazy today. We limited out on big reds plus 4 along with some heads and puppy drum that we could keep. A lot of sore arms in the boat today!!!!

We had a last min cancelation for this satureday! It was looking like it would be pretty rough so I wasnt too worried about not fishing but the updated forecast doesnt look too bad! This is the 20-60 mile forecast for saturday:

My daughter caught a 29 inch bull red, a 28 inch bluecat and a bass. All I caught was 1 bass. But it was worth seeing her hook on to that redfish.
