Re: Bounty Hunters Bass Club January Tournament Date: Saturday January 10,2004 Location: Shiloh Landing Lake Bruin The Bounty Hunters held their first tournament for 2004. The location was Shiloh Landing, Lake Bruin Louisiana. Once again club members arrived at the landing only to face Old Man Winter Square in the face. Conditions were cold and windy with the mercury dipping bellow freezing. A heavy frost developed and some boats looked like they had snow on them. Water Temperatures were reported anywhere from 48-52 degrees with a rising barometer. Club members had until 3:00pm to get the Wiley old Bass to the scales. Each member could weigh in a total of five bass that had to be over 12 inches in length. Even with the tough conditions a large number of bass were caught with most members bringing in a five fish limit. Fish were caught on lipless crank baits, jigs, tubes and spinner baits. All fish were released back into the lake.
