e: Bayou State Couples Bass Club June Tournament Results Location: Lake St. John Date: June 14, 2003

The Bayou State Couples held their June tournament at Lake St. John on Saturday June 14th. The tournament times were daylight until 200pm. The Club had (8) Couples fishing.

Danny & Dee Guerin with a total weight of 8.98lbs won first place. Second place went to Tony & Dixie Hickman and Third place went to Jay & Kathy Badeaux. Men’s big bass was a tie between Danny Guerin d Gary Crain. Ladies big bass went to Dee Guerin with a 1.58lb bass. Fishing was tough. Most fish were caught on Jigs and small worms fished as close to the Cypress trees as you could get it.

The Club would also like to remind all the ladies reading this that the Women’s Bass Fishing Association will be fishing on the Red River in Alexander this fall. If interested refer to their web site. http://www.wbfatour.com/index.html
